After dating a girl for 6 months she said she didn't think her feelings would progress any more. She said I am everything a woman is looking for, thinks the world of me, and I have alot of what she is looking for. She said she does have feelings for me but she doesn't think it will go any farther. I want more from her but she just wants to be friends now even though it would bother her if she knew I was dating someone else. Is she just confused? Will her feelings change in time? Why still be friends if it isn't going anywhere? I know I can't force feelings, but what is my best course of action? I don't get it.

Yes you can date and then be friends and then date..trust me I have done it before..

yeah you could but it really depends on both of you and if you are willing to go down that road again. If you both go in with an open mind and put the past behind you I am sure u two can work it out. Try not to understand what she is thinking because it will only cause u to think more and drive u crazy! But if she says she doesnt think it can go anywhere, that doesn't mean she doesnt care for you, but that maybe she isnt ready for anything permanent at this stage in her life. Dont force anything and respect her decision, even go as far as to ignore her, or not be as friendly with her. I mean don't be rude, but don't be as close as you used to be, let her see what she is missing out on so she can want you more. After all people always want what they cant have.

There is one lady and she and I went through that scene at least 3 times, and Lo & Behold we are still friends. Basically we really care about each other but NOT in a commitment relationship, at least not at this time in our lives, thus YES you certainly can be friends.
