I have internet access through work, but do not at my apartment. I do NOT wish to download songs, just rip them from my monster cd collection. Thank you for any help you can provide!

Yes that should be fine. As long as you can install Itunes on your comp at home (probably by donwloading it at work, then saving the .exe file on a usb flash or burning it onto a cd), then upload the music to your files then you should be good to go.

Yes, iTunes can work without internet access for example it can simply used to upload songs to a MP3 player and convert or shuffle songs.

Yes! You can use it to manage your music and transfer songs to your ipod but you can't download from the store.
