Very much so. Loving someone is a one way street. You are loving them no matter what. They may not know you exist.
Being in love with someone means your love goes both ways.
At least that is the way I interpret it.

Yes there is you can luv your mom or best friend which is a diffrent kind of luv than you can love someone that you think about all the time and want to be around constantly.lol

YES....you can Love someone as a friend or better than a friend but being IN LOVE means you put your heart and soul into the relationship* YOU are IN LOVE with that person , mind, body and soul*

yes. the difference is the time period, between past present and future. when u are in love with someone, you think about the present and future, but when u fall out of love with someone and simply love them, you generally only think about them in the past or in the current, never really the future.
