okay, so whenever people ask, i tell! its like a cant stop myself...and lately its been getting worse because they've been asking about me && my boyfriend, and its probably because they know ill tell them anything...how do i stop? and please dont tell me, well just dont because thats not helping and you'd be wasting your time...thanx for your advice...<3

You really have to find the root of your problem. . .Why are doing this anyway. . .?Is it because you don't have a best friend to share your secrets to?Or because you can't possible restrain yourself from telling something good that happende to you?First of all if you're giving away your secreets to people who are really not your friends then give it a second thought next time.

Ok. You do have a problem. I think that you would do best to try to avoid the situation. If someone brings up your boy friend ask them about theres befor they can ask you about yours. If you can stay around friends and ask them to help you when someone asks you, you would not have to anwser. Your friends could anwser for you or get you away from there when it starts. I hope this will help. Good Luck. Oh and if your boyfriend was around when it happend he could anwser insted of you.

You are trying to gain their friendship and trust by divlging secrets to them. You think that it will "earn you points" by sharing, but the secret is not as big a deal to you as it is to them. It's just either juicy gossip or boring details.
Have more faith in yourself that they'll like you, even if you don't have a story to tell.

If you don't want people to tell you to stop, how can they tell you how to stop? Just tell them your relationship is a personal matter not to be discussed and he wouldn't like it if he knew you were talking about your relationship. Then, again, maybe you enjoy talking about these things and don't realize it.

Try to listen first to the person and take interrest at what they say.
Be the one asking question and you will learn to keep your secrets....
