so this guy and i really liked eachother and we talked every night on the phone/texting for 5 weeks... and we went on two dates those first two weeks. and things i thought were going Great. but apparently he had started liking some other girl after our last date (which is i guess the real reason we never went on any more) but he still continued to lead me on those last 3 weeks, even though he liked her. then his best friend told me in a text about the other girl.. and i was shattered and heart broken. i still don't get what i did wrong or why it happened? he Had liked me so much i thought. his reason was that i was one of the most amazing girls he'd ever met and that he didn't like the feeling of going out with someone he thought was too good for him.. WHAT i am not even close..!! and he said "i always thought other guys were looking at you.. and i don't like being jealous" and No guys were looking at me. i've never even had an official bf before. was he just saying that stuff or what?

and thanks henry t... but i even tried saying that to him!!! but i guess it didn't matter.. because he fell for some other girl who is annoying and not so cute (and i'm trying to be nice even... but it's true..) so what is wrong with this guy? and don't most guys WANT to have hot gf's (not saying i am.. but he thought i was i guess..) i asked him why it mattered when he was the only guy that I saw in MY eyes anyways.. but for some reason he didn't let himself believe me and chose this other girl.....

I think you should tell him this,you don't have to but if you want " it doesn't matter how many guys look at me, if i love you i will be with you, even for rest of my lfe."

I think that he was just trying to say anything to you that would get him out of having to be in a relationship with you. You should definitely move on and not worry about him any more.

probably just saying what he though he had to say at the time. he was thinking he could get you to go further and you havn't yet and the other girl might. Just ask him what's the real deal.

it's hard but try not to let him bother you. sounds like he's just making excuses. move on and find a new bf, one who will treat you right and want to be with you.
