Straight across. You don't want to cut them round, that's how you get ingrown toenails.

Straight across the toe nail. Any rough edge use a file to smooth.

use a toenail clipper and clip straight across.

My philosophy is the longer the better..easier to clean out my ears.
Seriously though, straight across, no dipping in the corners.

by using a nail clipper and clipping the overgrown part of the nail, repeat both steps again on different nail
