no, the term ARTIFICIAL means that it is man made and it is made with chemicals. this is really not good for your body. they cause cancer, headaches, stomach problems, ms, and a bunch of other diseases. the only thing that is better than sugar is STEVIA. it is a plant just like the sugar cane and tastes the same. look it up online. hope this helps.

"The Dose Makes the Difference." Yes, tests of some sweetners have produced cancer in rats. However, rats are given massive doses to produce these results.

Otherwise, if you were to eat a gallon bucket of pure, unadulterated artificial sweetner every day, after x amount of time, you might get cancer.

Among the most carcegenic foods we eat are basil, peanut butter, mustard, root beer. But, again, we're talking about massive quantities every day over x amount of time. Even milk can be toxic if you guzzle super large quantities at a time
