I bought the Sims 2 and made a family of one man. The man fell in love with a sim that I did not create. I'm not sure if this is what it is but he adpoted a daughter and his aspiration is family. Her aspiration is romance and she lives with two other male sims; one with her last name and one with a different name. I made them engaged on Tuesday (sim day) and tried to get them to marry on Saturday (sim time). I had the propose option on Tuesday but on Saturday it disappeared. What happened? Why did it happen? How can I fix it?

because they either did not have the love anymore.. did they get in a fight or anything? because if their love goes down then they can't get married.. they have to be in love.. with the red heart and everything.. like close to 100. and what most likely happened was that since the girl had the romance aspiration, did you use the guy to flirt with her in front of those other guys she lives with?? because one of those guys probably got jealous and did he try to slap her or anything? because when you break their heart and they get jealous and furious, they fall out of love.. and then they have to heal first before even talking to the other sim. so if you want those two to really marry then you have to get the girl mad at her other two male sims that are in love with her or whatever (the one with the same name is probably her husband) so they have to fight first so she can "get a divorce" basically and marry the other guy! hope that made sense.. it's hard to explain, sorry!

It probably disappeared because you failed to save it. Did your game crash? It's happened to me to you do all this stuff and then the game crashes and you're kicking your own butt for not saving it. Solution is to save it every 5 or 15 minutes of our real earth time. Also I dunno how he could fall in love with an in game character that you didn't create but that's based off of your sims aspirations and such. Want cheat codes that might help you out for the game? Email me it's on my user name her via my 360 page. I'll give you more tips if you need them. Also get the expansion packs it makes the game more fun.

usually you can get them engaged, then propose "marraige"
BUT! if they're engaged, then all you have to do is have them get married! XD lol. luck with the new fam!
