Were lesbians OK, or simply not an issue?

Both old and new testament condemn male-on-male homosexuality, yet not a word about hot girl-on-girl action. What gives?

Same as now, the good ol' boys were afraid of being emasculated .They loved the lesbian aspect. The chicks didn't care because it didn't threaten their femininity. The girls needed it - ever seen a close-up of an apostle. No? Scarifying, to say the least.

As always, the men ran the roost, and the violence worsened. C'est la vie! Que sera sera. O, how the times haven't changed!

The bible comes from a male dominated society.God is seen as a male.Christ is seen as a male being the son of God.All of the apostles were male.Males had an elevated status compared to women. They were of little importance except for childbearing and house servants.I assume that lesbians were around also.I don't think lesbians were in the bible simply because of a male dominated culture.

The Bible does speak about female homosexuality.

"Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion." (Romans 1:26-27)

Women don't count! Remember when the church argued about whether or not they had souls? Ahh, good times!
