To love a partner, they must have certain things about them. I am sure its not just for looks that you are in love with them. If they cheated with someone because they have feelings for them then you should not come between them and must leave. If he cheated with someone because they were just there...God help you, you should leave because you can't trust to turn you back and leave him alone as an adult.
NO TRUST...no relationship..better leave while you love him than him walking all over your heart and separating with not so loving feelings...

I would be willing to forgive him under these circumstances: if the encounter was completely unintentional and done under the influence of alcohol/drugs; if he fessed up soon after and showed true remorse; he took steps to make sure it didn't happen again and to show he is trustworthy. Under these circumstances, I would be willing to work out our relationship.
I would leave his butt under these circumstances: if he intentionally slept with another woman and didn't care if he was hurting me; if it happened more than once; if he tried to cover it up; if he got her pregnant, or gave me an STD. Honestly, it really depends on the person, the circumstances, and where they place their morals.
I think it would be worse if he was cheating with somebody he had deep feelings for. Then I would question if I was really the one for him and if she's his true soulmate. If it was a casual encounter where the feelings were strictly platonic aside from the sex, it would still hurt, but wouldn't sting as much since I know that it was truly an accidental thing. Many blessings.

If I found a girl was cheating on me, but I really loved them, I would fight to keep her. I would forgive a little cheating, that stuff happens all the time. I think it is worse if she had feelings for the man she was cheating with. That makes it worse because then you have to worry about her leaving you for the other man.

a drunken mistake that can be learnt from make be possible to accept but not completely forgive. a long term thing with feelings involved is even more complicated.
it would depend how you feel about your partner as to whether or not you are willing to risk a second chance, however leopards rarely change their spots.

LEAVE! If they've done it once they'll do it again. The trust has gone and the relationship will never be the same again I'm afraid.

if i found out my man was cheating, i would chop off his manhood, put it into the blender and force feed it to him.
i would never be able to forgive or trust him so the relationship would be over.
