I was told you pick one string out of your head at a time because you like the way it feels, I said there is no such thing I never heard if it. If it is true where can I find information on it.

It's true, it's a compulsive disorder called trichotillomania. And there are many people out there that do it. My mom and I personally do it (she does it a lot more than I do though). But we both like the way it feels - it's actually really relaxing for me. Half the time I don't even realize I am doing it. I'll be reading or just relaxing watching TV and I'll find myself doing it. It might be a little strange, but it's really not as uncommon as people seem to think.
