lost an im portant folder?

I hid a folder that is very important. Can some body please tell me how to find it? I al ready went to folder opp and tried display hidden folders and it is not their, I tried system restore didn't work, I did a search of the hard drive couldn't find it I don't know what else to do. It is a scanned doc. if that helps. Is their any way I can undo my last few actions?

Are you SURE you have the Name of the Folder\File correct?

Try searching for a partial of the Name you Think it is......
