Only when you order it unless it is otherwise specified. If it isn't...just get yourself a can or two of scotchguard and do it yourself and save yourself some bucks, as this is what the company you buy your furniture will do. Make certain you don't saturate the material. It's better to do 2 light coats instead of one really wet one.

It usually does not come standard. When purchasing from a furniture store they charge extra for scotchguarding. I paid $70 to have my sofa scotchguarded when I bought it. Hope this helps.

It is only done after you receive your furniture. You can buy a can of fabric sealer from a fabric store and do it yourself for a lot less.

Ask to read the label to see how the fabric is treated, if at all. You can buy Scotchguard in an aerosol can and spray it yourself... I have never used it but I have seen it.

Why would they do anything standard when they can charge extra to do it for you if you order it?
I think unless it's advertised as stain-resistant in some way, then it is probably not scotch-garded.
