She called me a bad word so I called her one back and said "SO THERE" which set her off, so long story short she got me suspended and my dad punished me. I wrote an email of complaint to the school board to complain last night but I want to make sure they don't ignore her rage control problem which is disrupting my education.

The same thing happened to my daughter. You have to first report it to your principal, then call 311 and they will successfully tell you what it is that you have to do, then report her to your district office. I understand what you must be going through. Not all teachers are like this, but the ones that are need to be reprimanded.

Tell your dad what exactly happened or tell another member of your immediate family. You are going to need an adult to accompany you to the Principal's office to report what really happened. Don't be afraid. Don't take the blame she provoked you. Let this serve you as a good experience, next time some thing like this happens, stay quite and get 2 witnesses and report her to the principal like my daughter did. Good Luck!

Well frankly you shouldn't have called her a bad name back. Instead you should have just left the room and gone and talked to the principal or something. You firing back like that did absolutely nothing to help you. Its your own fault for getting yourself suspended and you can't blame the teacher for suspending you when you should have just walked away from it. The teacher may have been out of line if she called you a 'bad word' but that doesn't mean you should start firing back names at the teacher. There is no way that will help you. And no offense meant, but maybe you also have a rage control problem. If none of the other students were having problems with the teacher.. its probably just you.

if they are any good at their job they will at the very least look into it, we once had a rageful teacher in my school directing anger to one perticular student, when a complaint was filed they one by one called all the ctudents in that class to the office to interview them about it, if they don't encourage your classmates to back you up, you were in a class full I'm assuming so you should have alot of witnesses. But because it's the middle of the year best they can do for you (for now) is transfer you to a different teacher so the problem will not happen again. As for the teacher getting fired, it can happen, teachers are not aloud to call their students bad names, BUT at the same time you are not aloud to call a teacher a bad name, even if they start it

You can't without doing something even worse that what you are complaining about. So that is out of the question.

You should not need to do anything really, How many students are exposed to her rage control problem every day? How do they react? If she is that bad, everyone in the class knows to ignore what she calls you or anyone else.

And she just called you a "Bad Word" for no reason? Completely out of the blue, no dear- it is you who is disrupting your classmates education. It is the teacher's classroom, and you are a guest. If you disrupt it, you deserve to be punished. And, unless you are a senior, your little revenge attempt will follow you through your school life. Get off your high-horse and get a hobby with a real purpose.

You had a little spat, dont over react. She is NOT disrupting your education, you are saying that just for effect.

Whatever your beef with her, it's her livelihood you are playing with. If there is a rage issue then the school will deal with it. You've informed them so now leave well alone.

There is always two sides to every story, And your story has much to be desired. How come you don't want your dad to help, Sounds like your father knows that you have a problem with a figure of authority.

You sound like a spoiled brat who probably is whatever she called you. The school is most likely not going to fire anybody especially w/out your parents backing you up. To them it will just look like you are trying to get revenge on the teacher that suspended you and they most likely wont take your complaint very seriously.

wow, thats a tough one... i think maybe if your not of legal age, your parents are responsible for you when your at school...
your teacher is wrong for calling you a bad name, you had her there... because you retalliated and called her one back i can see that was not appropriate behavior...the damage is already done...i wish you got up and went to the principal before you retalliated. but you didnt. so... i would definetly complain to the school board... asfar as getting her fired>>> i doubt thats going to happen. sorry... she definetly owes you an apology,...good luck!

you should really talk to your dad about this and then the both of you should sit down with your schools principle and talk about the problems you are having with this teacher. there also might be other students that have had the same problem.
