My husband is a huge Nascar fan,especially #8 Dale Earnhardt Jr. So I thought buying him the Nascar Hot Pass would be a great gift! But I heard someone say they were disappointed with it,so I wanted to hear from you guys who are also Nascar fans,with the Hot Pass, to see how you like it,or dislike it,whichever it may be.I'm hoping to get some quick responses,since the season has already started! So come on guys,help out this wife, who is just trying to support the sports addict living within her hubby,HaHa!!!

This is the first year for the hotpass.So people that say they are disappointed with it are lying to you or are talking about something else. Sunday at Daytona will be the first time ever that they have ever done this. I would watch the free preview on direct tv channels 793 thru 799 and decide for youself. I got it early in order to save $20 since I am a serious nascar fan. Plus I might be wrong but I think they are commercial free so thats why I wanted it.

I like to hear the driver/crew chief banter, but if you're going to get it for up to the minute action....forget it. There is such a delay from the actual race that it's a joke. There was at least a minute lag for the Duals.

I heard that DirecTV was going to do a freebie on PPV this sunday. I was going to check it out. (Dont know about other cable/dish networks)
