I am attracted to a girl who works at the same place I do. We are not in the same departments so working together and dating wouldn't be an issue.
My hesitation is that I am 33 and she is almost 21. She is percieved by her older co-workers to be a bit of a flake but I aam still attracted. At times I worry what people think because there are people who judge you by whom you choose to date.

What should I do and how should I go about asking if I decide that is the way to go?

Just get to know her outside of work. So ask her out.........what could it hurt. Who cares what others think! She's just young and being silly or the others are jealous. Go for it................just be good to her ok! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!

Almost 21 and seen as a flake? Ekkk.
That could backfire on you.
You can't ask her out for a drink yet...hmmm. A movie would be too juvenile. Club usually call for drinking at that age...and you don't want her asking you to buy her alcohol illegally there anyways.
How soon does she turn 21 and define flake?

I'm not seeing any great answers to this one. If she is a flake I'm not sensing maturity there.
Maybe you should cut your losses and forget about that for a while. Wait at least till she hits 21 and then take it into consideration again.

Good luck.

If you like her, ask her out. Love is between a man and a woman. Why do you seek people's approval?

You can ask her to dinner and a movie or show and see how it goes from there. You need to do a little research on her preference regarding the food and show.

Good luck!

You are already judging her...I would think you should leave her alone. If you were really attrackted to her you would have cared less about what would the other say and you would consider what would be good for you too...

Try to ask her to an after work happy hour and see what she says. Ignore all other people. All that matters is what you think of her not them.
