My brother throws snowballs at her and she's tiny. She's a cockapoo. The snowballs were made of ice. The other day he threw her at my little sister because he got mad at her! What should I do? What should I tell him?

This type of animal abuse can mean your brother has serious problems that your parents should address. I realize you've already told your parents about this, but you need to sit them down and let them know that his behavior scares you and is abusive. Throwing things (animals included) is totally unacceptable! If your parents still won't do anything then I would talk to a grandparent, priest or school counselor. They will contact your parents and then they'll take this seriously. Someone needs to protect your little sister and the dog. You're a very caring sister. Good Luck!

Talk to your parents again. Explain that this is abuse. You are afraid for the dog and your little sister's safety! What will he do next? I am like you I really don't want to think what could happen. He needs professional help now. No matter how trivial this may seem to your parents it is a definite concern for the dog and your little sister. Question is is who is in danger next? And know that he is putting himself in danger by acting this way with others that do not love him and that will hurt him for actions that are not acceptable. If your parents allow this again then talk to a counselor. They can help rectify the situation. I speak from experience.
