Most contests of any kind post that they are open to legal US residents over the age of 18. I'm sure that's also probably the case with the lottery. Funny how they have no guidelines about selling tickets to illegals though. Again an example of how America is happy to let illegals pay into a system in which they can't draw out of, just like our government. Even illegals who pay taxes for years and years can never be eligible for social security, medicaid, medicare, welfare, food stamps, or unemployment.

I think yes...Just need a tax payer # like TIN I am sure yes and just ask a legal advise because I have friends that come to US for visits and they buy the lottery here wishing to win I am sure if they win they just need an a TIN # legal status doesn't matter too much anymore....

Of course! Unless the proper ID - Drivers License, proof of legal residency or such - is a legal request at the time you buy the lottery ticket.
I mean, if you legally can buy it, you can legally cash it.

If it's over 500 dollars you would required to have a SSN as this has to be reported to the IRS under 500 ok over 500 not ok
