their birthdays r in JULY!
my doggies r getting older and I want to through them a
"b young PUPPY PARTAY" or a "Birthday Bash"
well anyways....i need some ideas of what the dogs there can do!
TIPS on what to have w/ me!
seperation in dogs
healthy dog snacks
dog goody bags???
ETC.

My boss did this recently. He called everyone who had a friendly dog to come over. All the dogs played and brought doggie gifts and he left out cookies and drinks for the owners.

Remember that your party is as much for the dog owners as the doggie guests. I suggest having a separate area for people food so that the dogs are not stealing people food. On the website I listed there are dog bone cookie cutters. So making home made dog biscuits and human cookies in the shape of a dog bone would be fun. You could make jello gigglers in the shape of dog bones. That website also has dog plates, napkins, cups and paw print balloons. You can set up a small pool for the dogs to play in the water. You can set up a doggie obstacle course and have doggie races. You could hide treats around the yard so that they can search them out. Make sure you have a poo poo clean up station far away from the food area. I would send home the guests with treat bags of done bones and little toys in it. Having a dog party sounds so much fun. Serve Ice Cream with crushed doggy treats aka dog bisquits. Our neighborhood ice cream parlor has these on the menu. When the family goes out for ice cream the dog gets her bowl full also. Dogs love it, have fun !
By the way, Pet Smart has birthday hats for dogs and cats that you buy according to size so that they fit correctly which will allow them to stay put on the dogs head.

I threw my dog a first birthday party and it didn't go so well. A bunch of neigborhood dogs came and two of the male dogs continually were fighting because of "power issues". Both wanted control over the females in the park... If you're having a party, I suggest invited only one gender of dogs, or only small ones.
