my boyfriend told me he shaved his hair "down there" and i think he said it was his first time shaving down there, why did he do that?

If guys shave, its usually for the same reason girls shave. To have a cleaned up well groomed look and when someone goes down on you, its nice not to have all that in the way.

It is probably good to shave for hygiene purposes and it helps you look clean. I have to shave "down there" every one or two weeks since my mom thinks it prevents germs and stuff like that. I don't really think it prevents germs, but it's refreshing and I do it anyway. That may be a reason why your boyfriend would think of shaving.

He wants to spice things up a bit. I personally like a guy that's shaved down there. When you perform oral sex, theres less of a chance of getting a hair in your mouth. Also when it's cleanly and freshly shaven it's smooth, causing less friction when you have sex. It's a cool sensation...esp if you are shaved too.

He got pubic lice from another female, or male and thinks if he shaves down there the live will go away so the lice wont be spread to you

this is something that many men do and its done for a number of reasons but for the most part it feels better for sex . it would seem sensible that a woman would not want hair in her mouth i know i dont want that and it just seems to look better. other then that no real reason unless he got some girls gum stuck in it.

He probably read in some magazine that women love that. Who knows, you could just go with some direct questioning, he may give you a straight answer. He may have wanted to make himself a little more presentable for you. Does it bother you that he did?

He probably wants to be more sexual with you if you already aren't. Meaning he probably wants you to give him head and that was just a clue. Its alot better to give someone head who has shaved. HAIR IN YOUR MOUTH IS GROSS!
