Okay..First off, I have a lot of guy friends, who all happen to text me, but everytime my boyfriend and I are together, it bugs him a lot when he sees that they've texted me, even though sometimes I don't even text back. He's even asked me to stop talking to some of them... Does he do this because he cares? Or because he's a control freak? Help!!

First, look at it this way If HE had lots of girl friends and all those girls texted him when you're together, would you be fine with that? Be honest.
Girls are way more jealous than guys, so most girls would NOT put up with that. So he probably cares alot for you, but a smart man knows to trust his girl but NOT her guy 'friends'.

It`s called jealousy, He really cares 4 u. But he has 2 trust u,or the problem will escalade in-2 something u 2 cannot handle.
Explain 2 him what I said & if he cannot deal with that,he may possibly loose u. Mainly because of that. Do u REALLY love him ? or is it just a passing fantacy. AGAIN no AGE here,so It`s hard 2 tell u the right thing 2 do.

well it may be that he loves u alot & end up being insecure,this is just normal although it may be irritating for you as a galfrand,try to talk to him,tell him how u prefer male friends,make him aware that they are just friends,& far more better introduce him to them to prove your love & loyalty for him.be patient with him some guys freak out becuz of text msgs from other boys,but then if all these fails try councelling but then if it fails too,it will be better to let go.note these,i said let go if all fails,dont run away from the problem without triying to find solutions first,gud luck

He is not a control freak. He ASKED you to stop talking to some of them. You must not want to get serious yet if bothers him this much and you don't get it. P.S. The next guy who wants to be serious is gonna feel the same way.

Have a talk with him. If you're an actual close couple, you would be able to have straight conversations about how he feels and about how you feel. Tell him that these guys are just friends, and ask why it bugs him so much.

If he didn't care about you he wouldn't care if everyone elce texts
you. He sounds jealous but that is a sign of insecurity. Secure
people don't usually try to control others., it makes sense that
with many options someone doesen't need to control others.

Jealousy is a *****. I think that he shouldn't worry about it because u r with him. He doesn't have anything to complain about unless u start to flirt with the guys. If it's just friendship then he's shouldn't be worrying. He needs to check his insecurity and stop trying to protect himself by trying to guard u against "competition" and keep u in a bubble.

He does this because he is immature and wants your attention all to himself. You should talk to him about smothering you and that you care for him, but you have your own friends too. If he keeps up the bad behavior then find someone else that loves you and gives you your space!

well i think that he does it because he doesnt want them to have u, he wants u to himself, but def. not control freak, just a little bit of jealousyy, so tell him n explain to him that ur like giving ur love to him, not those other guys, and they are just friends and nothing more, and that hes the one u like truly like love or w/e, and when you r together, keep not texting back AT ALL, so it doesnt come between you two,

I think that you should do somthing very special for your Bf and let him know that you would NEVER even think of cheating, this is ovously a act of Jealousy so u just need to get him to trust u...thats wht love is...giving a person your whole heart and trusting them enough to not break it!
