All they buy is this nasty fat-filled junk like pizza rolls or debbie cakes or other crap. I'm trying to eat healthier but nobody is helping me! It's like everyone wants me to be unhappy. What should I do???

The same goes for my family! Next time anyone goes to the grocery store, ask to go with them. Point out some healthier choices, even go as far as asking them for these items. Compare the ingredient labels from the healthy foods to the bad foods. Show them eating healthy takes a little effort.

do you get an allowance or have a job? you might go buy some food of your own. If you cant then just dont eat the snack cakes and really horrible stuff. try to eat smaller portions of the crap they are feeding you

thats very sad, i am sorry to hear they will not buy you healthy foods. perhaps if you showed them that healthy can be easy, inexpenive AND taste great they would re-concider? you could start buy preparing some easy recipes or by printing out some recipes and saying "mum, would you please make this for me"?

there are LOTS of healthy foods you can make, even healthy sweet foods that taste yummy and are nutritious. you might want to concider trying "sea food" i do not mean like shellfishand such, i mean other food that comes from the sea, like algae, kelp, etc. they are full of protien, vitamins and nutriants I found some very good healthy recipes here http://healthyfamilydiets.com i tried two of the the recipes for SEA VEGETABLES because alaria is very nutritious and i wanted to know how to prepare it. I just started getting into stuff like miso seaweed kelp and algae but i am starting to feel better already! i hope this helps you out

I am going to try and make the fresh apple cake!

I was going to say tell them you don't want to end up like fat pigs like them. But that might not work too well. Just explain you want to be healthy and explain to them most healthy food is cheaper than junk. That should help.

So do my mother/father in law.
They get scared my husband will be dead by not eating. Whereas I cook for him Mediterranean food, whereas they eat junk of UK food which half people are overweight.

that's why my own mother in law has heart disease
and father in law just had diabetes.

If they want to kill themselves, that's their choice since i don't like them!

but in your case, try to make sure the find a way to change, if they are your own family.

good luck

Buy your own food. You don't have to eat what is there, you can go and be independent. I don't know how old you are, but vegetables are cheap. You could easily eat healthy on a paper-route level income.

buy your own foods; do not eat the junk. be calm and matter-of-fact when you address this with your parents.
