I think it is a beautiful name, however, I think you shouldn't worry with what other people think. You should try & think of what your daughter may think of her name though as she gets older (she will be the one answering to it & hearing it for the rest of her life). Your parents named you & your husband, do both of you like the names you were given? That is the question. I like my name but my husband was named after both of his grandfathers & despises his name. Think about it, to name another human is not an easy job. Have you ever heard the phrase it's hard to put a name on something without seeing the face? I would have several names picked out, you may decide to go with your original choice but when you see your beautiful new daughter you may decide another name is more fitting of her. If you do decide to go with your original choice this is what her name would mean: Kendall,Kyndall, Kendyl, Kendell - Valley of the River Kent, Rayleigh, Raelee, Raelie - From the red or rye field. Good luck on whatever you decide & also on the arrival of your new daughter.

I agree with another user. This name makes me think of "Ken Doll". I love the Raelie though. What about Raelie for a first name and another family name for the middle name?

I like your selection a lot.
Kyndall is a beautiful name for a girl. It's unique, but not one of those funky unique names that everyone has to ask how to spell twelve times.
My first reaction to Raelie was to object, but once you explained it, I think it's wonderful. She'll like having part of both of your names worked into her own. Very sweet.

i dont like Kyndal it reminds me of a Ken doll and theres nothing feminine about it, and the spelling is funky Raylee is unique but it still kinda rubs me the wrong way.

Beautiful! I love it when parents do that....name their children after themselves or family members. I, too, did this with my daughter. It shows that you really have a loving and affectionate family. :)

It is your child and you can name her anything you desire however, keep in mind that she has to live with her name and will have to constantly correct people's pronunciation of her name and continually spell it for people. Something to think about...
