Considering it would be a MAJOR decision to leave ones own country and go to another I would have to ask what conditions were like in their home country that made them decide to come here. I would want to know what the pay scale is there vs. here for the same job. I would want to know how they felt as a citizen of that country who tried to change their government through elections only to see the same results and the same problems after new leadership took over. I would want to know how they felt about being called slanderous names & told to go home even if they were here legally or worse yet even if they had become a citizen. Along those lines. Good luck with the interview!

I would ask them:
1. Why they decided to immigrate to this country
2. About their immigration experience
3. How the reality of being here compares to what they expected
4. Their views on the immigration system and on illegal immigrants
5. Their feelings about becoming/staying a legal resident vs. becoming a US citizen

Are you talking about immigrants or illegal aliens? They are two very different things. One has respect enough for the country to follow the law, the other is nothing except about disrespecting the country and breaking the laws.

Why come here? You wanna end up in Gitmo or something? Are you out of your mind? Don't you realize that our Presidink is a delusional, messianic nutcase, and he'll see you as a threat?

what did you think america meant before you got here...what do you think it means now....perhaps the expectations surpassed the reality...we are not free, rich or kind...but are most likely more free, richer and kinder than most places...sounds like it will be interesting...
