Right now, I think that the US has the widest selection of good beers brewed in one country. Nearly every style is produced here and many can hold their own with the best of the rest of the world. The increase in microbrewers in the last 10-15 years has really increased the quality and quantity of good beer available here. There are a few exceptions, such as the Lambic beers and some of the abbey brewed beers, and a beer or two from each of the countries mentioned, but, the US, in my opinion, can hold it's own.

I think nothing is better than Belgian beer! They have every kind of beers and they taste great. I like Mexicans too, but just to chill out in the sun, because they're light!
As for German and Irish, I don't really like them, but I would understand why people might like them.
I think some English, Australian and Jamaican beers are really good too, you should try!!

Hell no. The beauty of beer is that it is representative of the region it hails from. The best beer is always the one that is made by the locals for the locals and their cuisine. Same holds true for wines n spirits.

they are up there, yet my favourite beer (in case you're being particular) is Pilsner Urquell, made in the Czech Republic. Ever observe how some beer is named "pilsner?" this suggests that is made "in this variety of the beer made in the city of Plzen." nicely, Pilsner Urquell is made in the city of Plzen. that's the actual ingredient, and that is staggering. After that, there are some sturdy German beers from Paulaner that i'm conventional to take excitement in on social gathering. yet... in case you're actually not being particular with the term "beer," in case you advise "beverage created from fermented grain and hops," then the British Isles make the 2d-appropriate beer (incredibly, ale) in the international. Samuel Smith's Nut-brown Ale is my favourite bottled beer; Fuller's ESB on draught is gorgeous; and Double Dragon ale from Wales, MacEwan's Tartan Ale from Scotland, and others are only amazing. the appropriate beer, regardless of the undeniable fact that, is beer that is not any a variety of miles from its birthplace, that's why while somebody says "Wanna bypass get a lager?" I head for the closest McMenamin's brewpub. Beer, like bread, Grandma's cookies, and kisses, is at its appropriate while that is clean. McMenamin's is a cafe/brewpub business enterprise working in and around Portland, OR; they serve respectable pub nutrition at maximum of their places, with some first-value eating places to boot. yet specially they serve their own beer and ale, made regionally and served clean. that's why, for me, the appropriate beer in the international is a pint of McMenamin's Hammerhead Ale, served on the bar at my close by McMenamin's. no longer something even comes close. (nevertheless they DID make a seasonal Irish ale a pair years in the past for St. Patrick's Day that I wish they had make each and all of the time... Ah nicely.)
