I assume you mean in a word processor. You will have to buy a Chinese language software program. There are a number available. Even Microsoft has Word in Chinese. For most people, you type in the pinyin spelling of the Chinese word, then select the exact character you want. I have two Chinese word processors and find they work fairly well - the major problem is the choice of Chinese characters can take some time going through and most them are small on the screen.

Try the Google translator. English to chinese an vice versa. I use it all of the time. However, it is only about 70% correct so many times i have no idea if what i wrote was translated Correctly. I am also lucky as my Chinese wife can help me by proof reading what was translated. You can copy and paste with ease from the google translator.
