I was wondering if anyone here ever had one, how was it affecting your body, how'd you get rid of it, and how do you feel now that its gone?

I think I may have had a tape worm for a majority of my life, after looking at the symptoms.

Infection with the beef tapeworm, Taenia saginata, may produce mild GI upset or passage of a motile segment in the stool. It is treated with praziquantel.
Taeniasis solium is infection with adult worms that follows ingestion of contaminated pork. Cysticercosis is infection with larvae of Taenia solium from ova in human feces. Adult worms may produce mild GI symptoms or passage of a motile segment in the stool. Symptoms with cysticercosis are usually absent unless larvae invade the CNS, which can cause seizures and various other neurologic signs. Neurocysticercosis may be recognized on brain imaging studies. Less than half of patients with neurocysticercosis have adult T. solium in their intestines and thus eggs or proglottids in their stool. Adult worms can be eradicated with praziquantel. Treatment of symptomatic neurocysticercosis is with corticosteroids, anticonvulsants, and, in some situations, albendazole or praziquantel. Surgery may be required.

I've never had one but seen a show on discovery channel that said 1 in 4 people actually carry a tape worm which I thought was astounding . I have a friend who grew up in Louisiana in Cajun country and he seen one removed by the boys mother having him hold a glass of spoiled milk near his mouth for a time and it actually crawled out within reach and his mother pulled it out . So that may be worth a try , however I would see a doctor about it first because you need to make sure you have rid yourself of all of it because they are a segmented worm and each segment can live and reproduce independently if not all are retrieved.
