i own a repair shop and you need to ask if its ever been wrecked or if it has any small problems with it,or anything that's not working right on it ,and also see if you can get a car fax ran on it this might help some, drive it ,and if you hear or see anything that don't seem right ,ask the seller about it,look for difference in paint colors on it,this might mean it could have been in a small accident at some time or another, anything that you see and don't know about ,ask about it,look under it for oil leaks also, these can be real expensive to repair ,and take someone with you that knows about cars it will help you, they might see something you over look about the car, good luck i hope this help,s.

ask the seller if you may take the car to a mechanic to check it out and that you will pay for the check. Usually cheap. If there is any fluctuation from the seller of this request than be susceptible of the deal. If he/she has a problem with this proposal than walk away.

Test drive it, get the VIN # and get a car fax report, and go though the whole car, and test everything out and make sure it works BEFORE you buy it.
