If so I would like as much info as possible @ what classes to get prepared for and what to expect. If any one is doing online classes for this I would like to know where you are attending. Thanks for any info.

I can't imagine there are any online rad tech schools - they are very structured hands-on programs. I certainly wouldn't want someone doing my x-rays that got their education online! This link lists everything that could be on the national registry exam - it will give you an idea of what things you will have to learn. There will be classes on anatomy and physiology, ethics, medical terminology, patient care, pathology, physics, radiation protection, etc.

My wife is an X-ray tech. I'll ask her. What I know about her preparing is that she spent a lot of time learning the different ways of viewing a body. She uses terms like "dorsal", "medial", and others. Knowing every bones name and placement is incredibly important and something you can begin learning before classes start.

I'll get back to you if she has anything to add. Good Luck...it's a great job.
