Some because they know no other words to describe how they feel.
Others just for effect and comedy.

Humans are like smart recording devices. They abserve what happens in their surrounding environment and try to change them selves to become like it. But it is up to the individual to ignore the negative habits, thoughts, actions, ... and gain the goods values. Swearing is one the negative values that exist in this society. One way to get rid of using bad words in your daily life is to read books that deal with topics that you dont come across with. It will keep your mind away from the usual sentences you say which will eventually result in better communication. Always remember, not being able to ignore the negative values of our lives is an imperfection that can have negative results.

Because people want to express the point. It's not ignorance, it's just words that are becoming more en-grained into our society. Think of the words that were on TV 30 years ago and what they can say now. People will get more and more use to them and they will eventually just become part of our normal vocabulary.
Plus it makes you cooler.

It is usually a sign of ignorance. It is far easier to use cuss words, than to come up with an alternative.
Try this, the next time that you want to swear, stop, and force yourself to come up with an alternative. It's not that easy. You will find that the majority of intelligent people, (yes there are exceptions) don't use profanity.

To me a word is a sound meant for communication.
I feel there are no bad or good words.
It is only the listener who judges if they are in the category ogf good or bad.
Still, words, are primary evolutionary sounds toward communication.

Some people think it makes them sound cool. Others do it because they can think of no other words to express their feelings accurately. I think that it partly the environment they are raised in and partly lack of knowledge or class.
But that is just my opinion.

theres no such thing as bad words unless they are derogatory or biggoted. I suggest you grow up and learnt that the only bad words are the ones not used in a good context and bad sentences that don't are as much out of context when 'bad 'words' are not used like "Oh dear I have been shot" or "I hate this ******* apple"
