Try going out for brisk walks, but if it's -30 weather there like it is here, and you have a gym membership go on the treadmill or the eliptical, or the bike, Stationary bikes are great. Another way I do at my place is jump rope for 15 minutes, that'll get the heart rate going or climb all their stairs in your house and gradually increase the time.
