Yes, Annapolis is a charming town and well worth visiting. You'll see lots of red brick buildings, many of which are very old. It's a great town to stroll in, shopping and dining at any of several nice resturants.

I keep my boat in Edgewater MD and we boat on the bay every weekend in the spring, summer and fall. Annapolis is great, by land or sea. If you have the opportunity to take a boat shuttle, tour, I would do that as well, that way you can view some great scenery, homes, lighthouses, Naval academy, etc., if you prefer to be outside a lot, I would recommend coming no sooner than the end of May, as our weather sometimes, does not really get warm consistently until then, can still be nippy! Annapolis is great, good food, good shopping, great people watching, and also, swing by Ego Alley to watch all of the boats pull in and "do the turn" past Pusser's Restaurant.

Definitely, Annapolis is so cute. I love it there.
If you wait until summer there is lots of stuff to do on the water.

In the summer, yes. tour the statehouse, walk along main street, eat crabs on the water. In the fall attend an Army-Navy football game. It's worth a day.
