Using blutack, and also how long before I can put masking tape on them so I can decorate the other wall?

the boyfriend is a painter and decorator, he says at least 24 hours because the wal be totally dry by then. hope this helps :-).
ps bf (who is fully qualified :-).) says it will b fine after only 24 hours n not to wait for as long as 4 days. :-)
