This is because your Regional Settings are not configured on the 24 hr time format. You can modify this by going to Start> Control Panel> Regional & Language Options. Click then Customize on the Regional Options tab. Then go to the Time tab and select under the field Time format either "hh:mm:ss tt" or "HH:mm:ss". The "HH" or "hh" format is the one that lets you use a 24-hr format. If you want to delete AM/PM symbol, just go to those fields and press DEL key. Save all your changes by clicking the Ok/Apply button.

Right click on the clock on task bar. Add 12 to the 12 hour number and put in the 24 hour number. If under 12, put the o in (05 o;clock now, type in 17) then click apply or ok.

Go into your Control Panel, and choose Regional and Language Options. Click on 'Customize' next to your language.

Go to the Time tab, and change the first option to something with capital H's (like HH:mm:ss or H:mm:ss)

particular. I truthfully have Vista, and how I did it became into click it. Then the date and stuff confirmed up. Like a pop-up top above the time. Then on the backside of that pop-up, there's a link that announces, "exchange time and date settings." So click this. Then there are settings that help you do this variation. In my old computing device, it became into basically an identical ingredient. It only looks somewhat diverse.

Press The START button. Go into "Control Panel". Go into "Regional and Language Options". Press on the "Customize" button. Press on the "Time" tab. In the "Time Format" input box use "H:mm:ss"

The uppercase "H" means 24 hours format.

Good luck!
