where can i find local sports for kids? I mean i dont know where to go to sign my son up for a sport. Can anyone help?

thanks for the answers. And i am actually planning on joining the YMCA tomorrow, so i'll look into it. Oh, and my son loves sports, i just wanted to give him something to do so he wont be bored at home watching t.v.

You did`nt specify what type so here are a couple, sportshttp://www.littleleague.org/, so here are a couple, Also do a web search for pop warner football, and pop warner cheerleading. If thats not enough, just search the web, any orginization that is kids sports will help for free, and if you want soccer, I didnt get that one, it`s not american, and it sucks, lol

you should be able to find registration dates in the newspaper, if they don't post it there then you can get a hold of your city rec office, if that doesn't help then you can get some info from the school that your child attends.

contact your local YMCA.Sign up's are on now for the summer session.
Contact your local newspaper too.
I know you didn't ask for advise but encourage your son,don't force him to play !
