Scientific measurement is "Infinite"
Biblical description is "Alpha & Omega" (Begging to End) - Which I believe to be the most accurate description.

Scientists can look into a microscope infinitely. Meaning that there is no limit to how SMALL our universe may get. Philosophers have then wondered "Could there be a planet similar to Earth" within my own body? Famous author, Dr Seuss wrote the child's book, "Horton & the Who's" to illustrate this awesome possibility.

Likewise, Scientists can look outward through a telescope infinitely. Meaning that there is no limit to how BIG our universe may get. Astronomers theorize about the "Big-Bang" which blows Einstein’s theory that "you can't travel faster than the speed of light" out of the water. Therefore, scientists puzzled by this are now favoring that there is no pattern to the Universe at all, but the Universe is "Infinite". The movie, "Men in Black" (Will Smith) plays with both the big/small ideas for our entertainment.

Now "Alpha & Omega" includes both the dimentions (infinate smallness to infinate bigness) and includes the time componant (which time is infinate too -scientific theory)

Depends on who you ask. Some religions believe that God is just a spirit who can be every where. Large or small.

In my religion we believe that God has a physical body. Literally. We also believe that Jesus Christ is the literal son of God-not God himself in human form.

I guess it depends on how you interpret the bible.

It makes sense for me to believe that God has a physical body. How can all the people and animals on this earth have a body but God. I would think God has what we have but even better. He has an exhalted perfect body. I would not expect him to have any less than the people he created.

So, if you can wrap your mind around a God who is a huge spirit thing that can fill the whole world or the tiniest space then cool. I can't!

Someday if you choose to believe in Him, you might find out. If not, then why does it matter to you? What were the dimensions of proto-man according to Darwin? He didn't know for sure did he? If the law of decay is universal, how would a 3 foot tall proto-type produce a 7 foot tall basketball player several generations later? Sure nutrition and modern genetic enhancement of food products plays a part in improving the appearance of health and altering size...I suggest that the first people, or proto-types were more like 16 feet tall, and everyone after that degenerated, with occasional 'throw-back' traits. Where the gene pool narrows down due to isolation, you will most often find smaller people, or increased birth defects.

God doesn't have hands or eyes or feet; God is a spiritual being without form or body, and He is far greater than any physical being. Sometimes the Bible speaks about God's hands or eyes, but when it does, it is using symbolic language to convey some truth about His activity: "For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him" (2 Chronicles 16:9).

When the Bible says God created the human race in His image, it means that God put His character or imprint on our souls or spirits. We aren't God—but we are like Him (although limited). Because of this, we have the ability to love, and to know right from wrong. Because we bear God's image, we are different from the animals, and all human life is sacred.

The tragedy is that God's image within us has been defaced and twisted by sin (although not destroyed). But Christ came to make us whole, and someday "we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is" (1 John 3:2). In the meantime, make it your goal to grow closer to Christ and serve Him with all of your life.

so far, our physicists say it's 11 in their latest Theories of theories that explain it ALL. M Theory it's called. It's an interesting read if you can understand the language. "The fabric of existence" has a whole new meaning when you consider that according to M Theory, we're (the universe and all in it) are not particles but interwoven threads.

I'd say we have a long way to go before we can say how many threads it takes to make a Universal Blanket Statement.

haha.

=)

According to various religions, the physical presence of god is infinite and not capable of being innumerated by our clumsy little minds. (as far as I understand the various religious ideas, some say three/one, some say that humanity is the body of god, some say one man was god, some say the Universe and all in it, is the physical body of god)

God is a spirit; he is not physical. Concerning his "dimensions," at 1 Kings 1:27, Solomon said: "But will God truly dwell upon the earth? Look! The heavens, yes, the heaven of the heavens cannot contain you; how much less, then, this house that I have built."

God has a spiritual form, but He can give himself a physical appearence(i.e. burning bush, Jesus) when he has a use for it. When the bible says man was created in God's image, it was not the physical image, but the spiritual and emotional image.

John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, "Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? He that hath seen Me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou thee, show us the Father?"

The closest we will ever get to seeing God is Jesus. God is spirit and an all-consuming fire.
