After all, the result would have been very similar.

Satan is incapable of creating...and he also was created. Satan became a destroyer when he decided to destroy God's creation, to gain selfish glory. The result would not have been similar at all...even if possible, Satan would not create a world in which people can think for themselves or choose him over someone else. Satan would create slaves...just look at Satan's MO...God never forced people to follow Him...he gave everyone a choice. God would not send fanatics to kill innocent opponents to His way...God sent His son, Jesus to teach us to love one another, and treat others the way we want to be treated. Satan would create a world like the world any self centered human would create...where all the power, riches, and glory would belong to him. If you don't realize what I am saying, then it is already too late for you...you already believe the lies that Satan started. Satan fell from grace...Satan used to be called Lucifer, which means light bearer, and day star (the sun)...no wonder it was so easy to create a false church which kept the day of Apollo so well.
Someone mentioned that Satan was an equal opponet to God...that is so wrong. According to the Bible, and Torah Satan fell, and was confined to this Earth. Satan is not equal to God in any way, that is why when you surrender your will to God, Satan has no power over you. Sure he can tempt you, but you still have a choice...when you surrender to Satan, you no longer have a choice...and you won't even realize that you are wrong. So that goes back to the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil...surrender to Satan, and you are desensitized to the Holy Spirit, which talks to your conscience...thus the unpardonable sin. It's not that your sin is unpardonable, you just don't even realize you are sinning anymore. You become what you live.

God is Omniscience, Omnipotent, and Omnipresent. Satan is none of the above.

Also, how can Satan the created - who fell from grace and cannot last more than this existing universe create anything lasting - all he came out with were false religions which will vanish (like - Islam, Buddhism,Hindu, Confucianism, communism,Mormons, Jehovah's witnesses etc...).

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.
