Atheist or agnostic..or something else? I don’t believe that is a “supreme creator being,” but I do believe in ghosts and spirits. I wonder: Why do only some people's spirits stay behind, did they have any unjust death? Where do the other spirits go?--Reincarnation? If I believe in these things, what am I?

The term agnostic is a Christian centralist term that really has no application if you aren't a Christian. The term Atheist usually precludes any acceptance of ghosts and spirits.
You sound similar to me in this. I don't identify with any religion or faith or other classification. I simply based my understanding of this world on my own experiences and research into what others have discovered.

Why do you need a label? I don't. I do not believe in God, but I do believe that spirit lives on..... I do not know where, maybe a parallel universe to our own. A lot of spirits stay behind because if they were taken suddenly, they probably do not realise they have died, or have died before they had done all the things on this earth that they were sent here to do. I do not believe in labels, but if I were to be asked this question I would say I was an Atheist.

Human.

Oh, you wanted something more specific.

You are asking 2 separate questions.
1) If you do NOT believe in a creator, then you are an atheist. If you are undecided then you would be agnostic.
2) There are some words for different philosophies, but not enough. If you need a label, you might try “spiritualist”.

Make a name for it.

It's strange that you don't believe in God, but believe in spirits. Usually, you can't believe in one without believing in the other.

I think you're just confused and unconvinced in what God is.

You seem to be so sure that life on Earth doesn't end as easily as it physically seems. That's a good start. But what you need to do is to explore religion, and get into the philosophies that are behind them. I can't answer your questions, because it all depends on the God you believe in. Talk to a pastor, priest, medium, monk, rabbi and a theological professor. That should help you.

i am spiritualist
we believe in spirit communications and life after death
we do accept there are ghosts but ghosts are not a conscious energy like spirit
ghosts are what we call residual energy , that is just like a memory left over
reincarnation belief varies from person to person in my religion
i personally believe that some spirit do decide to reincarnate ( but not all )

but we do believe in a God energy though although not like the biblical God
it is more of a source we come from and return to

You are confused. Really, you are agnostic which means you don't know if there really is a God or spirits or not. Anyways, there are no such things as ghosts, but demons really do exist.

If you don't believe in God how can you believe in a spiritual realm. People who pass on either go to heaven or hell, there is no in between. The ghosts and spirits that you are referring to are demonic in nature who sometimes take on the image of people we may have known. The Bible refers to such spirits as familiar spirits.

So you believe in ghosts and spirits? Have you encountered these things? You are a lost soul.

Search God with all your heart and you will know that He does exist.
