In my opinion (not supported by my religion).

I believe we're all in the Garden of Eden prior to being born. Scripture reveals the "God knew us before we were born" ... that means he knew you and I over 10,000 years ago. So where were we before we were born? I can only imagine from what's been shared by God that we were all in the Garden of Eden. As shared by the Bible, we all have a "Mate" to share life with ... and when we eat of the "knowledge" we're escorted from the Garden to grow up, seek knowledge and WISDOM. This is why so many seek knowledge in science.

The Garden of Eden offers a life without knowledge and wisdom. So, what would this be like? How long did Adam & Eve stay in the Garden of Eden before eating the apple? We don't know. First, we cant' grasp time and label the scientific term "Infinity" to this unknown. So, if time is infinite (as we know it) then Adam & Eve could have spent over 5 Million Years in bliss in the Garden of Eden. Since God is all places in all times (alpha & omega), well he can see the totality of the picture and how we fit into the picture.

It's the tree of the knowledge between good and evil. We all have, and now have to take responsibility for the choices we make. It's another way of saying, "Ignorance of the law is no excuse."

We all have. The entire human race now knows the difference between good and evil. Meaning, we all like to decide what is best for our own lives... we all like to think we are the master of our fate and the captian of our destiny.

But we were never meant to have to make such tough choices. The only choice we need to make is: am I going to obey the guidance of my Creator or am I going to forge my own path, whatever perils it may bring?

It may sound like a platitude, but God really does love us and want what is best for our lives. We only need to trust in his love and guidance. Jesus is the way God made everything right between us and God - all we need to do it look to Jesus and be saved :)
