Need to get another key and trying to find the procedure for programming the chip (in the key) for the immoboliser.No power steering on my van in case procedure changed on power steering models.

you must have one master key
out of a total of 8 keys max(usually)
if u havent only a ford dealership
can programme a key from scratch
using a electronic device of some description
or another
for obvious security reasons
the proceedure for activating new keys
can probably be on the web
i would like to know it also
because i have just searched hi and low
for my spec book and its dissapeared
if i locate it i will edit this info
and type the proceedure required to do it
in this answer later on.time now is 13.20 uk(sunday)

get in touch with timpson shoe and key cutting shops they have shops in most major citys they can cut and copy the chip in your key to your new key they have a web page you can look at as well

you can only code in another key manually if you have a full set of keys, if not you need to take itto your ford dealer but unfortunatly its not cheap
