Age has made my once beautiful old hunting knives look terrible. How do I bring back the lustre??

Go to the web and search on "Testors Sanding Films".

They're plastic-backed sandpapers that come in diff grits. Buy yourself ONE of the five count assorted packs. They last practically forever. One pack is all you'll need.

Start off with as fine a grit as you can that will leave the blades shiny and work your way up to the red one. At that stage, it's more than most folks want or need....but if you really want mirror-bright, buff the steel with some red rouge and a Dremel felt wheel.

Of course, by sharpening and polishing them at regular intervals!

With a buffer and increasingly fine buffing compounds.

Work your way down the grits with wet and dry.

try some sandpaper if you use it wet it dosnt scratch. or try wirewool.
