U need to treat your pimples first before anything else..I had the exact same thing..except whiteheads

For pimples. visit acne.org..They give u a list of instructions on how to rid pimples and believe me,it works.

For scars, i used proactive skin brightening cream and neutrogena acne mark fading peel..although, i think the best is the proactive cream.

For blackheads, dunt use the pore strips..they dunt realli work..its a waste of money.Trust me.There is a special tool for it..I'm not sure what it called..sorrie about that..but it bascially metal with two ends ones a needle which i dunt think she would need to use or want to use..but the other end is like a thin piece of metal folded to form a circle..It removes blackheads EASILY...

For oily skin, there is a product from proactive called Sheer Mattifying Gel, u put it on and guaranteed less oil or no oil on your fce.I try it already..If u still have oil, then use those oil blotting sheets from Clean& Clear..

The most important part of this is to clear up your acne first because if u dunt the other products will just irritate your skin even more and cause more pimples..

Oh i know i said a lot of products from proactive..Actually they have a lot of good products but the ance system doesn't work so i dunt think u should waste your money trying it.

Hope this helps!!!!!!!!!

Oh and never use makeup to cover up anything..it only makes it worse..let me know if this helps.

Honestly, the best thing I found for my oily skin is the Pure Focus line at Lancome. The Cleanser is $21. I think the exfoliator is around that price too. Use the Tonique Clarte, it has pineapple and papaya as well as other natural ingredients. Also, try the self heating mask as well as the pure empriente mask, they will penetrate deep into the pores cleaning them and refining your skins texture. They will then tighten your pores.
I dont know what your acne looks like, so I am just going to give you some basic tips. Cleanse day and night. I use the Pure Focus cleanser, but even for the most oily skin (like me, I produce oil an hour after i take a shower), it might be a bit drying for you, so use that in the morning. Use the Mousse Clarte in the evening. You will love it! Use an exfoliator before you cleanse every other day to every two days. it depends on when you might want to do a mask. Personally, I do my pure focus mask every other day, and my Pure Empreinte mask once a week. Rinsing your face with cold water will help in keeping your pores tight, (i know its too cold out there for this, but it truly works!!). You should stop by the Lancome counter...they honestly have the best skin care line. I used to have horribly uneven skin tone, spots where i consistently had zits, and was scarring. The Lancome beauty advisor would diagnose the best skin care regime.

I just went to the doctor yesterday and asked the same question. Her reply: STOP DRINKING SODA! I've used pills, medical creams and ointments, over the counter crap, etc. and of course, nothing has worked for me. I even tried trying ProActive Solution you see on TV. But anyways, the doc said if I lay off the soda completely, my skin will start to improve in color and complexion as well as reduce oil, etc. I used to have acne extremely bad but now it went down a lot. My only problem area is around my mouth. One other thing I do to keep my skin dry (I have oily skin): I go tanning a few times a week. This dries out my pores and has cleared up about 95% of my skin. And the benefit...you look great! The only bad thing is it greatly increases chances of skin cancer, and it's a pretty expensive treatment for acne and skin discoloration. It's a win or loose situation, I guess. But that's what works the best for me so far. Now I will try to lay off the soda and see how much that helps. Hope this was some what useful. Good Luck!

Well, I had the same problem and I tried everything and the ONLY thing that worked is this:
1. Wash face in morning with Neutorgena Deep Clean Cream Cleanser
2. Use Oxy pad after washing.
3. Use Neutorgena Visably Even lotion after Oxy pad moisture dries.
4. Use Clearasil Vanishing Cream to "spot treat"
5. Neutorgena Visably Even foundation, if you wear make up.
Then at night,
1. Wash face with same as morning.\
2. Oxy pad after washing.
3. Clearasil tinted acne treatment on whole face (like you would lotion).
4. Neutorgena Rapid Clear Spot treatment to well...spot treat :)

I know this sounds like a lot, but it really takes only about 15 minutes. And i know alot of people are going to tell you that this is too drying and yada yada. Well believe me I have tried everything, every combonation, and this is the only thing that I saw results with. My pimples were reduced by the next morning, and the scars go away quickly too. And the Neutorgena foundation helps to even out skin tone, while it covers existing pimples. After about one week, you will notice that your skin is dry and kind of flaky, but that goes away in about a day.And when all that dry skin comes off, it helps bring the unscarred "pretty" skin to the surface. I hope this works for you as well as it has done for me. I think the best part is that these products aren't expensive, so you don't have to save up to have healthy skin, and if you run out of something, you can go get it without going broke.

When it comes to scars, if you're talking about dark marks, try a lightening cream, like "Retin A" that is prescription only. If you are talking about pock marks, there is nothing you can do. You should try "Clean and Clear" they have a whole line for oily, black-headed skin. You can't make pores smaller, but you can use pore reducing products. "Clean and Clear" has that too. I heard that Proactive works wonders on all problems as well.

One technique to make your pores smaller is to wash your face with warm water, then rinse with clean cold water afterwards.
If you do this as a routine it should help keep your skin in a nice condition.
Make sure you use a mild soap, and don't over apply it, and make sure you rinse enough to remove any trace of soap.
I personally don't use soap on my face (Im a man, and work in some dirty situations) unless I have something like oil/grease from a car on my face, then I wash with soap, then a warm wash then a couple of rinses, and yes I do moisturise as well!
Now in my 40's and thankful that I've always done that, nobody believes I'm older than 35!

Try the Proactive full treatment..i had a friend that had a very similar problem and she used proactive and her skin is beautiful now with the scars you can try to use silicone creams or cocoa butter creams which are made for that...im not sure if they work or not...but the Proactive treatment definitely does ...is very good and this would cost you under $100 and its soo worth it...trust me Good luck :)

Don't worry. I even have ALL those things. But here are some suggestions that truly work:

*Go see a doctor-they gave me acne cream
*Make a face mask and put it every night and morning. Face mask: Yogourt with fresh sliced strawberries. Or-raw egg and honey. those 2 facial masks will close your pores, leaving a oil-free face. A soft one too.
*Drink LOTS OF WATER THE KEY TO HEALTHY SKIN!
*Wash your face daily.
*Don't eat much meat.

Hey, everyone is beautiful!

1. Use the least amount of cosmetics as non chemical sunscreen and lipbalm with SPF.
2. Cleanse your skin gently with a gentle non chemical cleanser and lukewarm water.
3. Eat a tsp of honey every morning.
4. Mix half a tsp of honey, tsp each of fresh pinapple and papaya juice with half tsp lemon juice and apply it on your face. Rinse with lukewarm water after 20 minutes.
5. Drink at least 8 glasses of mineral water daily.
6. Cleanse once in the AM and once in the PM.

Have horrible acne? The rule to clear skin is 1. Do not touch your face 2. Eat healthy balanced meals (lots of fresh vegetables and fruits) No junk food! 3. Cleanse skin twice a day (once in the AM, once in the PM) 4. Do not stress- stress makes acne 5. Drink at least 8 glasses of water daily 6. Excersize at least 30 minutes daily ( a short walk will do it)
Never cleanse with hot water. It will aggravate skin and produce lots of oil.
Massage your face once a week with olive oil and wash off with lukewarm water and a gentle soap for sensitive skin.
There you have it- perfect skin!

Chemical Peels for Acne

Acne is a skin condition, which discerns itself as plugged pores (blackheads and whiteheads), inflamed pimples (pustules), and deeper lumps (nodules). Acne lesions are most common on the face, but they can also occur on the neck, chest, back, shoulders, scalp, and upper arms and legs. Most people are able to manage their acne with over-the-counter treatments. Unfortunately for some, acne can be more serious.

Acne can be a socially debilitating disorder at any time, but more so during the tumultuous time of adolescence. Individuals with severe acne suffer from being marginalized by their peers, leading to a low self-esteem and poor confidence.

However, you're not alone. Close to 100% of females and males between 12-17 years have at least experienced an occasional whitehead, blackhead, or pimple, regardless of ethnicity. In fact, in the United States, 40% of adolescents by their mid-teens, have acne severe enough to require some treatment by a physician. Because of the high demand for effective treatment, the cosmetic industry has been greatly advancing various ways to combat acne. One of the most effective (if not the most) is by chemical peels.

Chemical peels are acidic solutions that are applied on the affected area. The solution acts on the outermost skin layers - causing them to disintegrate and be 'peeled' away to reveal the underlying, newer, unaffected skin.

There are different types of chemical peels ranging from mild to deep penetration to combat the severity of your acne or acne scars. Mild peels consist of alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) or beta hydroxy acids (BHAs), medium peels are usually made from tricholoracetic acid (TCA), and deeper peels made from carbolic acids like phenol.

It is necessary to consult your doctor or dermatologist to devise the best strategy to fight your acne, and to see if you are indeed an appropriate candidate for chemical peel treatment. Sometimes, if your acne is too severe and still active, then chemical peel treatment may not be advocated. The best candidates for these treatments are those individuals with superficial acne, or those who suffer from acne scars only.

No matter what your needs, a Chemical Face Peel can work wonders.

A friend of mine battled acne in her youth well into young adulthood. She has clear skin, but it is marred with scars. She finally decided that it was time to get a chemical face peel. Her sister also had one for acne scars, and her skin is beautifully fresh and new. The process is inexpensive and easy, and the results are stunning.
