Two or three games is good. The trick is to know your crowd when picking out the games.

It usually not a good idea to do anything that involves toilet paper or diapers.

If you do a paper game, you can just put it out by place settings. This is like a bridal word search or crossword puzzle (all over the internet) People can take their time doing it. Trivia games can be fun too, either generic wedding stuff or specifics about the couple.

Wow..people suggest 6 or 7 games? I'd want to kill myself as a guest with so many games. I'd say no more than 2 tops. Keep them simple and quick. The point of the shower is to socialize, eat, and ooh and ahh over all the beautiful gifts the bride receives. Most women despise shower games. We are only doing 2 games at mine. One is a bridal shower scratch-off game (bought on eBay). Whoever gets the ticket with the prince on it (versus the losing tickets with a frog) wins..probably will be a nice bottle of wine or gift certificate somewhere. The other "game" is when an alarm clock sounds at random times, whomever gift is being opened at the time will also get a prize. I think the worst game I ever had to play was "Bridal Shower Bingo." There were probably 100 women at the shower, and we were all expected to write down gifts we thought the bride would receive in the little squares. As she opened them, we were to check them off our Bingo card. It took the bride almost 3 hours to open the gifts, by then, Bingo was the last thing on anyone's mind.

Bridal Shower... I saw a lot of people were saying games with diapers for a baby shower... not reallky great for bridal shower.

I just had my second bridal shower and we played the cutest game.. everyone was given a paper plate and a pencil. They had to hold the plate on the their head and draw a picture of what they thought i woud look like on my wedding days with accessories. I then had to pick two winner.

I wouldnt doa ton of games but 3 or 4 is fun.

I thought you asked about bridal shower and most i see respond on baby showers weird people read what she wrote on here before you answer. I think 7 games are good and i dont think it is boring to have a shower when you are around people you love and care about. Good Luck.

i think its funny that half of these people are responding to this question as if you said you were having a baby shower...but as for the Bridal Shower...i'd play 3 or 4 games. things like "where did me and so n so meet, how he proposed"- you know make up your own little questions to see who gets the most right and have little prizes. others you can get little booklets at places like Borders or something that have game ideas in them.

To be honest most people don't want to spend there day at a baby shower most people hate showers. Keep it short and simple if you have to play a game play a couple after that you are going to have people making excuses to leave left and right

If you like the people you're inviting you won't play any games. Showers last too long as it is. You have to open and pass around every gift, that takes forever. No games.

Depending on how long they are. I wouldn't do more than three short games. A fun game that they played at my sister's shower was where they made candy-grams about the couple. It was really cute!

I would say 4 or 5 games. There is this really funny one were you take 4 diapers and number them from one to four of coarse. then you take 4 cans of baby food and pour each can onto the inside of diaper. wrap it up and keep on a peice of papre what food went into what diaper. than pass the diapers around and have people gause using their senses what the food is. they can taste it smell it touch it or what ever. I thought this was a cute game. You can use 2 or 3 more diapers if you want. who ever gets the most right wins.
