going start then run opens a box that you can enter words and will open a software for example if you type winver it will open up a window and will tell you info about your computer ......dose any1 no some othere words that will open up things annd dose any1 no a way of telling what the words will be depending on the software

Any executable file (the one with a .exe extension) that belongs to a directory that is defined on the System Path can be invoked on the command prompt. Your system path is a directory list that Windows uses to internally execute your programs.
You can check your system path by going to Start> Control Panel> System. Go to Advanced tab and click Environment Variables. Check out the "Path" variable. This should contain a directory list. So mostly all EXE files on those directories can be invoked via command prompt. One example is the C:\Windows\System32 directory where the winver program is contained.

Hi. There are many, such as 'regedit', 'msconfig', and many others. I think Microsoft has a list, but make sure you know what you're doing.
