How about the origins of the "promise ring".. My promise to love you or something that states why you are giving her the ring in the first place..maybe some online research into the significance of "promise rings"...just some possibilities.. The Elizabeth and Jim Forever is nice though and usually your first instinct is the best!! Congratulations. She is a lucky girl, if you are putting this much thought into this, it is a good sign that you will also think through future things..good guy!

Forever & Always
Always & Forever
either of those...the two names together are good but dont scare her with My future bride to be- if that was the case just get her an engagement ring, you know? forever n always or visa versa is very meaningful yet not too "ahh" at once and so soon (i see the 7-22-06 means youve only been together for 6 almost 7 months)
Good Luck!

Well...Its really a nice thought and all. However..What exactly are you promising? Personally I think promise rings are a slick mans way out of commitment...Sorta like saying.."I promise to one day get engaged (which is a promise to marry)"...so you can get her a ring without a commitment.. "I promise to one day make a commitment"...Lame.
Definition:
A 'promise ring' or 'friendship ring' is a small, inexpensive ring given to a boyfriend or girlfriend, to promise not to court a rival.
Note: Friendship ring...small....inexpensive.

Love given & promise made
A promise for all time
Eternally Yours, Jim
my heart my love my life
(my favorite...it becomes a constant loop of what you promise to give her)
Good luck and God Bless!
