I have bad sinuses and have for months but for the past few weeks my eye feels sticky or dry something i can't discribe it, but it is so irratating. Doc gave me anti biotics and it didn't help so he said its viral and there is nothing to do but push fluids. Any ideas on what to do about my one eye being so irratated?? Its so aggravating.

Check your diet for other allergens; milk intolerance plays a role in sinusitis.

Get a good all round diet which supplies all the essential oils and vitamins; you might be mildly deficient in Vitamin A for example, which helps immune function. Vitamin E plays a role in membranes and skin. You could try taking a good multivitamin and mineral supplement.

Many people suffer borderline vitamin deficiencies. Zinc deficiency is common, for example. Many modern foods are just not as nutritious as they should be - from storage, transit, poor farming practices etc.

Visit your doc or an eye specialist again soon.

I think you should go see an opthamologist. You may have scratched your eye and torn your cornea. You may have an eye infection. You may be able to call in to the opthamologist office and tell them what your other doctor said and what your symptoms are, maybe they will know what is wrong right off. I'm sorry your eye hurts.

i had the same problem with my nose n my eyesn they put me on 12 days of steroids(predisione) n i use visine allergy drops in my eyes.sometimes antibiotics r not enough to treat an allergy infection so they resort to a series of steroid treatments for a short term n it really helps.
