Buddhism's Middle Way, provides peace of mind, happiness, and purpose in life.
Buddhists are very peaceful people, who do No harm to anyone. There's never been a war in the name of Buddhism. Buddhists do not try to convert others, but repspect "the Free Will" of others, for all people must find their own way in life, to obtain an inner stable peace of mind, and happiness. We do not judge, criticize, or condemn people, for what they choose to believe, or Not to believe. Buddhists practice Loving-kindness, Patience, Tolerance, and Forgiveness toward all people, for "this" the our way - that is taught in "The Middle Way"!

It is important for all people to "Respect the
Free Will" of others, not forcing one's beliefs, or religion upon someone.

With Metta {Loving-kindness and Friendliness).

I have a friend who was raised Hindu, became Buddhist, and is now an agnostic.

This site often seems to glorify Hindus. With all due respect, some of their beliefs are more offensive then even the most appaling parts of Christianity and Islam.

We also glorify Buddhists....go to Asian countries and you'll get a very different perspective. Many of the temples are corrupt. Many hide prisoners for money, some are involved in drug smuggling. Some of the free pass we give those faiths is romanticism.

All religions are organizations. All organizations are self perpetuating, and open to human flaws.

Buddhism is a system of practical philosophy and way of living not a system of theology so having adopted it there are no doctrines that one might question from a moral or intellectual viewpoint hence former Buddhists are comparatively rare.
