I have an eviction dated in 2000. Will it fall off next year??(seven years)

Actually, you can go to www.annualcreditreport.com and dispute it with all the credit bureaus, sometimes they will remove it or they will keep on there as long as they feel like it.

Are you sure the eviction is even on your credit report? I've seen many credit reports and never seen an eviction on it. Unless they reported you to a debt collection agency and that agency put it on your credit. But that would be fairly unusual.

Either way it should fall off after 7 years, if it was even there to begin with. So some time this year.

it will fall of THIS year, the month that it was originally reported.

I've never seen an eviction on a credit report though--- usually its just a rental history thing. I take it you left them owing money and they filed a judgement or referred a colection agency?
