Where are the WMD? What would have happened if we never invaded? They didn't have ties to Al Queda. My concern is this: If we invade every country that poses a threat we will be fighting for years to come. US is known for peace and democracy, not for starting wars.

Iraq was never a threat to the USA's freedom. Now, as a result of the invasion, nothing short of hell on earth and misery has been created. Terrorism begets terrorism. The only path to peace is to show peace. And by showing peace I mean not blowing up people for their oil.

No WMD's were found. The ones we gave Saddam to use against the Kurds and Iran were destroyed in the first gulf war or had depleted their strenght to uselessness and were later destroyed by Saddam.

Had we not invaded they would have eventually had a coup and Saddam and his brats would have been killed by Iraqis.

Saddam and Osama didn't like each other. Until we went into Iraq there were very few, if any terrorists based there. Most were from Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia and Syria.

War criminals invade sovereign nations for no reason.

Answers to your question can be found in a book written 3 years ago. It is available through Amazon and BN. Some local booksellers don't have room for books that old. See reference below. I promote it for nothing but information. It is well written and easy to understand. Also it isn't just one guy's opinion. The author cites his resources.

Since when has the USA been known for not starting wars or for being for peace or democracy.
Start reading your real history and quit believing your own propaganda.
The USA is known for an eagerness to use military solutions to business problems. It has the largest military budget in the world by far and holds enough weapons of mass destruction to extinguish all life on the planets. The USA WMD not only include nuclear but also chemical and biological methods of extermination. The USA is not loved or respected worldwide, only feared, and now you have madmen in power.

Answers to your questions
1 The WMDs are now in Syria and Iran. They started moving them during the Gulf war.
2. Saddam's Iraq was destabilizing the middle east. There are several ties between Iraq and Alqueda. Also between many of the other Mideast nations and Alqueda.
This war is not about Iraq or Afghanistan perse, it is about the nation of Islam and their hatred of the western culture and Judeo/christian faith. The war will be fought for many years to come. It has and is spreading to the far corners of the world. The war will be fought, one way or another. Islam is a religion of hate for anything, even each other. Put it this way, if you are a Baptist and your neighbor is a Lutheran. The differences in your beliefs are minimal, however in Islam, you two are enemies and should kill each other. Plain and simple. That is what is called sectarian violence, if you will. Call me a bigot, if you will, call me Islamaphobic if you will, however it is the truth. All of these young people in this nation have been protected from the truth for so long and have been coddled and spoon fed with our way of life, that they have no idea what the world is about.
Yes, the US of A has always been for the good of the common man, however that has changed in the last few years. May God help us as a nation. We surely need it.

None other then USA of course. They just assume that Iraq has WMD but they have failed to find it.What they did was wrong.Firstly, they didn't found any evidence of WMD that was demanded by the United Nations, they invade Iraq even though United Nations told them not to and because of their invasion, many lost their lives.By the way,why do they prosecuted Saddam only now?Why he is not prosecuted by USA when he attacked the Kurks back then?Cover up story for the WMD?Perhaps so.

How is it that you don't think Iraq had ties with Al Queda...Look at it over their. You think its just because we are there...no, these people need help and no one else in this world has the balls to stand up for the under dog...so that is why we have to flex our muscles. Stop the threat before it even thinks about coming here and while we are there help so good people out.

If we had waited for Iraq to invade us we would still be waiting.

If we had never invaded Iraq we would have won the war against terrorism.

We lost that war the moment we invaded Iraq.

In the first book of the Koran it explains that the only legitimate reason for any Muslim to go to war is to expel an occupying army. Like the USSR in Afghanistan, the Israelis in Palestine...

the US in Saudi Arabia to the minds of the literalists and their cynical puppet master bin Laden.

Occupying Iraq was the exact opposite of any resolution to the terrorism problem.

Mmmm lets 1 say we took 3 of the biggest WMD's Saddam and his 2 boys out of the picture. Next no one ever talks about the Serian gas lets see it was like 40 tons found in Jordan that came from Iraq. How about the Al Queda agents that were given a free pass to stay in Iraq while Saddam was in power.

I Really don't think we'll be Invading another country anytime soon.

Iraq was never a threat. Funny how it's claimed that we're fighting for our freedom in Iraq (which we invaded under false pretenses) and yet there's freedom-stripping legislation here at home, such as the Patriot Act, Military Commissions Act, etc.

So who's really the threat to American freedom?

The people of Iraq are far better off now than they were before we invaded. It is in our nature to free the oppressed, or at least try. America's gift to history is Democracy, and the pursuit to maintain it's longevity through change. If the Iraqi's don't keep a democratic government and society, so be it, at least they were given a chance. Make no mistake, Saddam was an evil person who ruled his country with an iron fist. I met people there who had been oppressed their entire lives because of which form of Islam they practiced. Entire families gone, because of one man's ideals. Right, wrong, Democratic, theological, whatever, Iraqi people have a brighter tomorrow because of our actions today.
