Is it true that some New age systems think that the Christians are all going to be taken from the earth and put onto another planet until we evolve spiritually? This is what they will say when the rapture happens. What do you think?

I'm not sure about the rapture in New Age mentality as part of a belief system. New Age is against "systems" so that almost any possible approach to life and its mysteries are welcomed. I guess that the idea could be that if believing in something like the rapture conveys to you a sense of confidence in the future and dispells your fears, then go for it: hold on fast to the hope of being snatched away in the blink of an eye.

Those who believe this way, are just another cult that satin as raised up to lead people astray and it is a shame that so many are falling into his trap. When the rapture takes place we will not be going to another planet, We will go to stand before the Great White Throne to receive our rewards, and we will not be returning to this one, until we come back with Jesus for one last time for this earth to be destroyed forever. Then we will live forever in the New Jerusalem were there will be no more sin.

All kinds of non-traditional belief systems exist. But this concept doesn't sound common enough to lumped in with New Age. It is also true that some minor Christian religions believe that there will be different planets for different races, faiths, or whatever. But this concept doesn't qualify as a Christian belief on its own just because small groups of Christians have it.

Me too, Christian, I mean.
I never heard this before; but I do know from lots of study in the manuscripts, that this rapture junk is nonsense. It borders on the pathetic. Nobody is going anywhere.
There will be no gathering back to Christ until after Antichrist sits in the Temple of God, pretending to be God. Either people believe Gods Word, or they believe some idiot pastor.
People need to wake up; the day is getting long.

There are many religions that have end of the world prophecies similar to christianity. Some scholars think that the one who wrote the book of Revelations borrowed the imagery and most of the story from ancient texts that contained end of the world stories.

I do not believe that the rapture happens like they say. The rapture, in fact, is fairly new theology that is not in the Bible.

That is too absurd for words.

I do wish Christians would evolve beyond that idiotic book, however.
